Merl (Buck) Gray

Veteran of the U.S. Air Force Second Airman machinist of strategic air command with top security clearance worked on several aircraft including the SR-71 and U2.
After the Air Force, Mr. Gray worked as Operations Manager and Logistics for Western Carloading before joining his son Steve at i2k in 1993. Buck is still active in the business at 79 years old and continuing to solve challenges with new projects.

1993
Steve Gray and father Meril (Buck) Gray formed inflatable 2000 Inc. which was one of 6 manufactures of inflatable amusement products in the country.
2000
We started a separate division called The Fun Company, which encompasses our rental division of inflatables, carnival rides, casino equipment, concessions, etc.
2004
We positioned the company to also offer inflatable promotional products, i.e. inflatable advertising balloons, helium blimps, giant product replicas etc.
2008
Inflatable 2000 received a GSA contract enabling us to sell amusement, promotional, decoys and inflatable shelters to the US government.
2013
We purchased an airbag patent and soon branded it as i2k AirPad c/Zero Shock technology.
2017
We rebranded the entire company, Inflatable 2000 is now known as i2k and Zero Shock is now i2k AirPad.

Focusing on AirPads for the Fall Protection/Fall Arrest industry (OSHA)
